Changing Seasons was a bold, multi-genre spectacular from London Mozart Players, the Resident Orchestra at Fairfield Halls in Croydon. Inspired by Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, the event featured four newly commissioned works by Croydon-based artists, offering a contemporary response to the climate crisis and a reflection on our rapidly changing world.
Spring Blossoming is a piece performed and written by flautist Praveen Prathapan of Subrang Arts with composer Fiona Brice. Inspired by the optimism of the natural world and the vitality of early spring, the piece explores themes of rebirth, renewal, and the unstoppable momentum of nature’s cycle.
